The Shipmate Mentorship Certification is a leadership position for experienced employees to assist the on-boarding process for new hires. I have been a mentor for employees from: Philippines, Indonesia, and Morocco. Cultural sensitivity, emotional intelligence, and leadership.

Emergencies happen anywhere or anytime. I have successfully completed the International Maritime Organization's and STCW recognized training on Crowd Management for emergencies with competencies in: verbal and nonverbal communication, passenger safety, and psychological stress responses.

Shipboard
CareTeam Training verifies my sufficiency in dealing with onboard family emergencies such as the loss of an individual. This management training proves that in the unfortunate instance of a loss of life, I can logistically and ethically assist the remaining family in funeral arrangements, flights, and mourning.
