Writing Sample
At the crossroads of social research and writing for undergraduate honors, Choreography and Study as Informative Practice was an opportunity for me to develop practical and social dance research while fine tuning my creative and critical writing skills.
A two semester project with deep dives into feminist practices in dance, personal pedagogical styles, and a thoroughly developed and edited term paper, Choreography and Study as Informative Practice was an achievement in my Honors College journey.

At Ann Arbor Dance Classics, I took a creative role in Program Development for revenue and retention through two new initiatives: Young Dancers Excel Convention and Mini Movers Mini Sessions. These initiatives involved logistical and creative elements of project management. Additionally, I participated in marketing training where client perspective exercises contributed to the overall organization's success.

Introductory Musical Theater Class for Conservatory

As an instructor with experience in private, public, and corporate sectors, I adapt my teaching to the needs of my students. My approach to a 12-14 year old Musical Theater Class in a conservatory is different to my approach for 2-4 year old Creative Movement Class at an organization with copy-written material and different again to a 16-18 year old Modern Class at a competitive dance studio.
I strive to be overly prepared while equally flexible, constructing lesson plans for the needs of each group of students. I have provided one such example above!
